2,334+ Skill Files for OpenClaude

Every skill on Claude Skills Hub works with OpenClaude out of the box. Drop them into ~/.claude/skills/ and your agent gains senior-engineer expertise in seconds.

What is OpenClaude?

OpenClaude is an open-source coding agent CLI — a community-built alternative to Claude Code. The big difference: instead of being locked to a single model provider, OpenClaude runs on 200+ models through providers like OpenAI, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, Anthropic, Ollama, and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint.

Crucially, OpenClaude is compatible with the Claude Code skills format. That means every skill file in this library — all 2,334+ of them — works with OpenClaude with zero modification.

What is a skill file?

A skill file is a markdown document you save to ~/.claude/skills/. When OpenClaude (or Claude Code) starts up, it loads every file in that folder as persistent context, giving your agent immediate, expert-level knowledge in a specific domain.

Think of it as the difference between hiring a generalist contractor and hiring a senior specialist. The generalist will figure it out eventually. The specialist already knows the best practices, the gotchas, and the patterns that work in production.

Frequently asked questions

Do all 2,300+ skills really work with OpenClaude?

Yes. OpenClaude reads the same ~/.claude/skills/ directory and parses skill files in the same markdown format. No conversion needed.

Which model should I use OpenClaude with?

For coding tasks, the best results currently come from Claude 4.6 Sonnet, GPT-5, and DeepSeek v3. For local/offline use, Llama 4 or Qwen 3 via Ollama work well with skill files.

Can I submit my own skills?

Absolutely. Submit at clskills.in/submit — every submission is reviewed personally and published with credit to you.

Is Claude Skills Hub affiliated with OpenClaude or Anthropic?

No. CLSkills is an independent open project. We're just enthusiastic about a portable, model-agnostic skill ecosystem that benefits both Claude Code and OpenClaude users.
